Privacy Policy · Growney Inside

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how the website Growney Inside (inside.growney.app) handles personal data. On the site a child takes apart the machines at home and finds out how they work. There is no app yet: when it comes, we will update this policy. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@growney.app.

The short version

  • The site has no accounts. We collect no personal data about a child: the chapters passed, the breakers switched on and the labels stay on the device.
  • There are no ads, analytics, cookies, tracking, purchases or chats. A child types no text and publishes nothing.
  • The drawings, real photos (from Wikimedia Commons, with their authors and licences shown) and sounds are part of the site.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Yevhenii Dryha, ul. Augustyna Szamarzewskiego 21 lok. 2, 60-514 Poznań, Poland, NIP 5273007452, REGON 522367200 (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@growney.app. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

2. What is kept on the device

The chapters passed, the breakers switched on, the labels, the chapter a child stopped at, the sound setting and the chosen language are kept only in the browser on this device. The site sends them nowhere. They go when the browser data is cleared. The progress can be erased with the “Start again” button (Me → For grown-ups).

3. What we don't do

  • We don't show ads.
  • We don't use analytics or cookies.
  • We don't track anyone across other companies' websites and apps.
  • We don't ask for a child's email, phone number, location, contacts, photos or voice. The site doesn't use the camera or the microphone.
  • We don't sell personal data or share it for marketing.

4. Hosting

Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Fonts, drawings and photos come from our own site, not from outside services.

5. Links to other sites

The bathroom mirror leads to the Growney Body site, and the Sources page to Wikimedia Commons and Creative Commons. Those sites have their own policies.

6. Legal bases

We process data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): delivering the pages, keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and answering support requests.

7. Who we share data with

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting the site.
  • Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Limited): our support email.
  • Authorities: only when the law requires it.

8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

When a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or on the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep data

  • Progress on the device: until the browser data is cleared or “Start again” is pressed.
  • Hosting logs: up to 30 days.
  • Support emails: up to 2 years after the question is resolved.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access your data and get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Parents exercise these rights on behalf of their children. Write to support@growney.app. We reply within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.

11. Changes and contact

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Yevhenii Dryha, ul. Augustyna Szamarzewskiego 21 lok. 2, 60-514 Poznań, Poland, support@growney.app.
